Job summary

Flip retail in Sharjah–Dubai is seeking an Instrument Engineer to design and maintain instrumentation systems for process industries. The role requires a degree or diploma in Instrumentation engineering and hands-on experience with process control, troubleshooting, and data evaluation.

Preferred familiarity with Emerson distributed control systems and batch processes, supporting reliable operations and instrument maintenance across facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, pulp/paper or paint coatings markets.
• Experience in executing process control.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repair and data evaluation.
• Maintenance of instruments and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute process control strategies and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and automation equipment.

Required Accreditations

• 1. A minimum of 3 year experience in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, pulp/paper and/or paint coatings market is needed, but prefer 4-6 years for diploma owner & 3-5 years for level holder.
• 2. Experience in executing process control.
• 3. Experience with trouble solving/ repairing and data evaluation.
• 4. Experience in procedure, repair and maintenance of all types of instruments and also automation.

Preferred Certifications

• Understanding in Emerson distributed control systems.
• Experience working with batch operations processes.
• Experience with many sorts of pressure, level, temperature level, circulation instrumentation & valves.
