Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Dubai seeks an experienced Instrument & Control Engineer to support Wellhead and Skids Solutions, focusing on modular packages, control panels, and pressure regulation systems.

You will interpret P&IDs, supervise instrument installation, test PLC/SCADA/HMI, perform FAT/SAT, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe project start-up and commissioning on site.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• : 5–6 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, or project execution.
• : Reading and interpreting P&IDs and instrumentation drawings.
• : Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, including logic, alarms, interlocks, and sequences.

Responsibilities

• : Interpret and understand Instrumentation, P&ID, hook-up, wiring, termination, loop, and control system drawings.
• : Supervise instrument installation per drawings, hook-ups, specifications, and project requirements.
• : Verify installation, calibration, termination, tubing, cabling, and functionality of field instruments.
• : Support commissioning of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, including control logic, sequences, alarms, interlocks, permissives.
• : Review PLC logic and control narratives; coordinate with controls team for troubleshooting and modifications.
• : Conduct internal testing, FAT/SAT, and testing of control and instrumentation systems.
• : Coordinate loop checks, continuity checks, and commissioning testing (cold/hot).
• : Troubleshoot instrumentation and control issues during testing and commissioning; coordinate corrective actions.
• : Work with BMS, including logic, interlocks, trips, and safety functions.
• : Verify control loops, alarms, interlocks, sequences, and ESD functions.
• : Use I&C testing equipment and tools (calibrators, meters, loop testers, generators).
• : Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, process, and commissioning teams; ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• : Prepare test records, FAT/SAT documentation, and commissioning folders; support site commissioning and start-up.
