Job Summary:

The Instrument Builder position will be based at the Emerson office in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Dubai.

As an Instrument Builder you will assist the Rosemount Business Unit in manufacturing Rosemount products that conform to specifications, procedures and certification requirements on the assembly line. This includes the assembly of pressure, temperature and level measurement instruments. Your role will not be limited to assembly alone; it will also involve periodic maintenance, training subordinates, problem solving, packing and reporting daily activities to the team. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineer, Supervisors and the Material Warehouse team.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Performs all duties as assigned using required PPE and safety requirements
  • Assembly of instruments for pressure, temperature and level measurement
  • Calibration and testing of pressure transmitters & differential pressure transmitters
  • Handling of calibration reference instruments
  • Issuing certificates: Calibration certificates 3.1 according to EN10204, certificates of compliance 2.2, hydrates certificates 2.2, certificates of IP65, material test certificates 2.2
  • Repairing pressure TX span & linearity adjustment of TX
  • Helium leak testing
  • Diaphragm seal with pressure gauges & pressure transmitters filling
  • Assembly of all type diaphragm seal
  • Diaphragm assembly with pneumatic pressure transmitter
  • Assembly of 2-way valve manifold, 3-way valve manifold & 5-way valve manifold with pressure & differential pressure gauges; hydro testing of diaphragm assembly electronic transmitter
