Job summary

Al Nahda National School seeks a Classroom Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum in a dynamic Abu Dhabi environment.

You will foster a safe, inclusive classroom that supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and personal growth while maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents. Collaboration with colleagues and active participation in school events is expected.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, classroom activities, and assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Use differentiated and student-centred teaching strategies to address diverse learning needs.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support student development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development programmes.
