Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Marine / Quarry to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of marine structures vessels quarry operations and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of marine structures vessels and quarry sites to identify potential safety hazards and quality issues
  • Utilize specialized inspection equipment and tools to assess the condition of materials structures and machinery
  • Analyze inspection findings and prepare detailed reports including recommendations for corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified issues and implement improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections findings and follow-up actions
  • Stay updated on the latest inspection techniques safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on quarry materials and marine equipment
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Marine Science or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine or quarry inspection
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. API ASNT) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of marine and quarry inspection techniques
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Proficiency in using various inspection equipment and tools
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
