Working within AECOM 's Buildings and Places business line, the Inspector - Civil and Finishing will provide site-based oversight of construction quality throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires careful assessment of materials, workmanship, civil activities, and finishing works, supported by accurate inspection records and timely identification of deficiencies and non-conformances.
The position has a strong quality focus, requiring consistent inspection of both civil construction and finishing activities. The Inspector will assess whether completed work reflects the approved design intent and required standards while maintaining clear documentation that supports project quality assurance and quality control processes.
The role requires practical knowledge of civil works inspection, architectural finishing inspection, construction materials, workmanship assessment, QA and QC procedures, technical drawings, specifications, construction documentation, non-conformance identification, corrective actions, site reporting, and compliance monitoring.
