GEMS Education UAE is seeking an Early Years Teacher for the Primary Foundation in Dubai. You will design purposeful learning experiences, blending strong pedagogy with personalised learning and technology integration.

The role spans Pre-Prep and Prep, building literacy, numeracy, science, computing, and creative expression. Ideal candidates hold a BEd or Bachelor with PGCE/PGDE, have proven Early Years experience, and show a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• BEd or Bachelor + PGCE/PGDE required.
• Proven Early Years teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Early Years lessons ensuring age-appropriate development.
• Create personalised learning experiences for individual strengths and needs.
• Use play, inquiry, storytelling, and practical activities to build foundational skills.
• Develop early literacy through reading, phonics, vocabulary, speaking and emergent writing.
• Strengthen early numeracy via practical problem-solving and counting activities.
• Integrate science, computing, and arts into cross-curricular learning.
• Differentiate activities to support varied abilities and learning styles.
• Communicate with parents about development and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school initiatives.
