Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Coordinator to lead multi‑discipline design activities, coordinate between design teams, contractors, and clients, and ensure deliverables align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

You will review and approve designs, provide technical guidance, maintain detailed project documentation, and present updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure design or project coordination.
• Proven track record managing design projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infrastructure design activities across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Ensure design deliverables align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Act as the primary point of contact between design teams, contractors, and clients.
• Review and approve infrastructure designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to design teams.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues during the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, planners, and other stakeholders to develop integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Facilitate communication between internal and external teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Conduct quality checks on design documents and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Present updates and recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in infrastructure design standards and codes.
