Job summary

One75mb HRM Pvt Ltd in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Murex Front Office Consultant (Senior) to join our IT team. The role focuses on Front Office configuration, trade workflows, market data and trader support.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Murex Front Office.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of the Murex application.
• Practical configuration experience in E-Trade Pad, Simulation, LiveBook, Pre-Trade Workflow and Lookup Tables.
• Experience supporting traders and middle-office users directly.
• Strong understanding of at least two asset classes.
• Hands-on knowledge of product setup, market data configuration, static data and trade lifecycle workflows.
• Experience in resolving P&L, position, pricing and market data-related issues.
• Exposure to Murex patch upgrades, version upgrades and functional testing.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Murex Front Office Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise and hands‑on experience in Front Office configuration and application support. The candidate should have practical exposure to Murex Front Office modules and workflows, along with experience providing direct support to traders and middle‑office users.

The role requires expertise in configuring Front Office menus, managing trade workflows, product setups, market data and resolving functional and technical issues within the Murex application.

Key Responsibilities

1. Murex Front Office Configuration

• Configure and maintain Murex Front Office menus and functionalities, including E‑Trade Pad, Simulation, LiveBook, Pre‑Trade Workflow and Lookup Tables.
• Create and modify E‑Trade Pad strategies, simulation views, LiveBook views and pre‑trade rules.
• Manage pricing templates, risk matrices, lookup tables and other Front Office configurations.
• Handle product setup, market data configuration and trade workflow customisation.

2. Application & Trader Support

• Provide day‑to‑day application support to traders and middle‑office users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to P&L, positions, market data, trade processing and market operations.
• Investigate trade workflow issues and ensure smooth functioning of Front Office operations.
• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and implement appropriate solutions.

3. Market Data & Static Data Management

• Configure interest rate, rate hedge and credit curves.
• Maintain static data, including securities, generators, indices, currencies, volatility surfaces, portfolios, user groups and access rights.
• Support market data setup and ensure accurate pricing and valuation configurations.

4. Testing & Upgrades

• Participate in patch upgrades and Murex version upgrades.
• Perform functional testing and validate system changes.
• Investigate and reconcile P&L and Greeks discrepancies.
• Ensure system changes do not introduce functional issues or regressions.

5. Stakeholder Coordination & Documentation

• Monitor and report issue progress, critical incidents and showstoppers to managers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve application issues.
• Assist in developing business and operational processes.
• Prepare system documentation and training materials whenever required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in Murex Front Office.
• Strong techno‑functional knowledge of the Murex application.
• Practical configuration experience in E‑Trade Pad, Simulation, LiveBook, Pre‑Trade Workflow and Lookup Tables.
• Experience supporting traders and middle‑office users directly.
• Strong understanding of at least two asset classes.
• Hands‑on knowledge of product setup, market data configuration, static data and trade lifecycle workflows.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have actual hands‑on Murex Front Office configuration experience. Candidates with only MXML, integration or trade‑import support experience, without exposure to Front Office menus and configurations, will not be suitable.
