Job summary

Metito Utilities is seeking an experienced Information Security Administrator/Officer to join the IT Security team in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on security operations with governance, policy implementation and employee awareness to safeguard systems and data.

You will lead incident responses, manage vulnerabilities and support ISO 27001 ISMS initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–9 years of progressive information security experience.
• Hands‑on experience with email security, endpoint protection, PKI and MDM/MAM platforms.
• Experience supporting or leading ISO 27001 or comparable ISMS programmes.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and data‑protection legislation (GDPR UAE PDPL).
• Experience with SIEM and log‑management tools, vulnerability scanners, web security gateways and WAFs.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain incident response plans and security playbooks.
• Manage security awareness programmes and phishing simulations.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation and patch compliance.
• Support ISO 27001 Information Security Management System improvements.
• Assess security risks with technology and business changes.
• Monitor email and web security controls and investigate threats.
• Manage DMARC, DKIM and SPF configurations.
• Administer PKI and certificate lifecycle.
