Information Manager
AtkinsRéalis Business is hiring an experienced Information Manager for our Middle East delivery team. This person will carry out a mix of functions that span internal process improvements to supporting project delivery. The successful candidate should be people, process, technology focused, ensuring our project delivery teams adhere to standards and the best industry methods, and actively support project teams on proposal and project delivery tasks.
Education and Experience
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering and 8+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, minimum 3 years’ experience in the Middle East region.
- 5+ years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects (Information Management/BIM).
- Information Management certification by a relevant institution (e.g., BRE, Operam Academy, RICS).
- Software certification such as Revit, Civil3D is desirable.
Key Skill Requirements
- Thorough understanding of data, information management and BIM, including compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
- Sound knowledge in engineering design to assist design team in self/interdisciplinary services coordination, quality compliance, etc.
- Expert knowledge of BIM authoring tools from various providers such as Autodesk, Bentley.
- Expert knowledge of BIM federation and coordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track for tasks like clash detection and resolution, model walkthrough, issue tracking and management.
- Expert knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM360 and ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo.
- Experience with information management/BIM uses such as construction sequencing, quantity take-offs, virtual reality, augmented reality.
- Strong ability to develop technical documentation for Information Management.
- Experience in implementation, training and utilization of Information Management tools from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble.
- Effective communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
Job Duties
- Ensure digital content is produced, stored, shared and exploited using the latest technologies and practices.
- Develop Information Management documents (e.g., Pre‑ and Post‑BEP, federation strategy, Level Of Information Need, responsibility matrix).
- Ensure internal and external capability and capacity processes are implemented and followed.
- Administer Atkins’ MIDP Online Tool.
- Administer Atkins’ CDE (BIM360 and ACC) and support project team in utilization of CDE.
- Perform multidisciplinary clash detection, identification, grouping and support in assignment and resolution of clashes.
