Position Details
  • Job Title: Industrial Grade Xanthan Gum Sales Manager (Middle East)

  • Reports to: Director of Overseas Sales

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Expansion & Customer Development – Lead sales and customer acquisition for industrial grade xanthan gum across the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and other countries.
  • Focus on key sectors such as oil, oil drilling, chemical processing, and related industries.
  • Identify potential clients through market research and industry analysis.
  • Deliver customized product solutions to increase Fufeng’s local market share.
  • Channel Partner Development & Management – Build and maintain strong partnerships with oilfield service companies and distributors.
  • Provide product training and market support to partners to promote Fufeng’s xanthan gum products.
  • Assist distributors in expanding sales channels and optimizing channel coverage.
  • Sales Management & Target Achievement – Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans to meet sales targets.
  • Track sales progress from lead generation to order delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly report sales data, market trends, and competitive dynamics to senior management.
  • Provide actionable market feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Customer Relationship Management & After-Sales Service – Understand customer needs and provide professional technical support and solutions.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing customers to maintain relationships, enhance loyalty, and drive repeat purchases.
  • Resolve customer issues related to procurement and product usage promptly and effectively.
  • Marketing & Brand Building – Enhance the visibility and influence of the Fufeng xanthan gum brand in the Middle East, focusing on core industries.
  • Support company participation in industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and other events.
  • Develop and implement localized marketing and product promotion strategies based on regional market demands.
  • Industry Enablement & Knowledge Sharing – Deliver professional training to customers and distributors on xanthan gum product technology, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Share insights and updated product knowledge with internal teams and partners.
Requirements
  • Work Experience – Experience in sales of industrial raw materials (especially xanthan gum, bio-fermentation products, or petrochemical-related products) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer development or distributor management within the oil and chemical industries is a plus.
  • No mandatory years of experience required.
Core Competencies
  • Strong market development skills, capable of independently managing the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Middle Eastern clients and partners.
  • Strong data analysis and logical thinking skills to develop targeted strategies.
  • Fast learner, able to quickly grasp xanthan gum product technology and industry applications.
Language Skills
  • Fluent in English (business working language).
  • Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
