Job summary

Confidential in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on industrial machinery in a aluminum manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years UAE experience, hands-on knowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, and control circuits, and can work independently with minimal downtime. Immediate joiners preferred and safety compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as an industrial/machine electrician.
• Experience in aluminum factories or similar industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with motors, control panels, sensors, relays, VFDs and PLCs.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Age under 35; immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems for industrial machines and factory equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults in machinery, control panels, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and other electrical components.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot motor control circuits, starters, VFDs, PLC-related electrical systems, and automation equipment.
• Ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently with minimum downtime.
• Perform electrical inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
• Replace faulty electrical components and carry out necessary wiring and connections.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
• Follow factory safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during machine breakdowns and maintenance activities.
