Global Mining Company is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead industrial digital platform initiatives in mining and energy transition sectors. The role emphasizes hands‑on coding while shaping solution architecture, integration patterns, and platform standards for OT, edge, historians, cloud, and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in industrial automation, industrial or mining digital platforms, or IT/OT integration.
• Strong hands‑on experience in C# / .NET for building scalable industrial software platforms, backend services, APIs, and integration services.
• Experience with industrial IoT or IoT platforms, and with microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience developing MCP servers and working with agentic AI frameworks, together with a working knowledge of LLMs.
• Experience with real-time data ingestion, event processing, and system integration using modern messaging tools.

Responsibilities

• Platform & Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure software systems for industrial automation and digital transformation platforms.
• Industrial Integration & Data: Define data acquisition, normalization, storage, and governance strategies for operational data.
• AI-Enabled Industrial Applications: Architect AI-enabled applications, copilots, and secure AI integration patterns.
• Technical Governance & Collaboration: Review designs, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure robust technical solutions.
