Job summary

Flyper in Dubai is seeking an Indian truck driver for a full-time position with visa sponsorship. You will operate and maintain a range of trucks, load and unload cargo, plan routes, and communicate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements include Indian nationality with UAE heavy-vehicle (Category 3) license, minimum 2 years of driving in UAE/GCC, fluent English, physical fitness, and knowledge of UAE roads.

Qualifications

• Must be Indian national with UAE heavy vehicle (Category 3) license.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience in UAE or GCC.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy loads.
• Familiarity with UAE roads and traffic laws is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of trucks including flatbeds, tankers, and trailers.
• Load and unload cargo following safety protocols and secure it properly for transportation.
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers to provide updates on delivery status and any issues.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or damages.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding driving schedules, rest breaks, and safety protocols.
