We are seeking an experienced Indian Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product displays and promotions to increase sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop merchandising strategies that align with company goals
• Plan and execute product displays in retail stores to showcase new products or promotions
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed decisions about product placement and pricing
• Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences
• Collaborate with designers to create eye-catching visual displays that attract customers
• Train retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
• Report on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback regularly

Requirements

• Must be an Indian national residing in Sharjah, UAE (preference for those who can provide their own accommodation)
• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry
• Proven track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior
• Valid UAE driver's license preferred
