Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Inclusion lessons to students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Inclusion and foster critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
Skills

Successful candidates will need:

  • A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Inclusion.
  • Proven experience teaching High School Inclusion, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
  • Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and hands‑on Inclusion education.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
