Job summary

Client of Michael Page is seeking an in-house lawyer in Abu Dhabi to scale a fintech business. You will own major debt recovery, litigation oversight, and drafting of lending and financing agreements while advising on regulatory matters relevant to UAE markets.

The role requires leading external counsel, supporting market entries, licensing and corporate structuring, and delivering practical legal solutions in a fast-growing environment. Arabic fluency is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering in-house legal support for fintech or lending businesses.
• Ability to lead debt recovery and pre-litigation activities across the UAE.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead debt recovery collections and pre-litigation work across the UAE.
• Manage external counsel and oversee claims enforcement and litigation matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial lending and financing agreements.
• Advise on lending, trade finance, credit and day-to-day commercial legal matters.
