Job Description.

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Export Documentation Specialist with expertise in Nigerian import/export regulations. The ideal candidate will manage all international trade documentation, ensure compliance with Nigerian customs and trade laws, and facilitate smooth import/export operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for import/export activities, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian import/export regulations, including NAFDAC, SONCAP, and other relevant authorities.
  • Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Stay updated with international trade laws, Nigerian customs procedures, and shipping regulations.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any documentation-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and implement best practices in documentation management.
  • Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to streamline documentation processes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export documentation, with a strong focus on Nigerian trade regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian customs procedures, SONCAP, NAFDAC, Form M, CRIA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using documentation management software and SAP.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
