We are seeking a skilled Imperva DAM Specialist to join our cybersecurity team in Dubai. This mid-level, full-time role requires hands-on expertise in Imperva Data Activity Monitoring, cybersecurity practices, and the ability to work within a dynamic environment supporting clients in various sectors. The specialist will ensure strong security posture and data protection across enterprise environments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Imperva Data Activity Monitoring (Mandatory skill): Proven expertise in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Imperva DAM solutions for enterprise-level data security.
- CISSP (Mandatory skill): Active and valid CISSP certification with a strong understanding of security best practices, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Cybersecurity (Mandatory skill): Extensive experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats within complex IT environments.
- Web proxy: Familiarity with web filtering solutions to control and secure internet usage throughout the organization, ensuring adherence to policy and protection.
- Email Security: Knowledge of email threat vectors, anti-phishing measures, and email data loss prevention systems for a secure communication environment.
- Database Security: Hands-on experience implementing database protection measures, vulnerability assessments, and data encryption strategies in large organizations.
- DLP: Proficiency in Data Loss Prevention strategies for monitoring, detecting, and preventing unauthorized data access or leaks across endpoints and networks.
- WAF: Practical experience with Web Application Firewalls to protect web-based applications against threats like SQL injection, XSS, and other vulnerabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Imperva DAM solutions to monitor and secure sensitive data activity across databases.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, incident investigations, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Integrate and support cybersecurity solutions including web proxies, email security, DLP, and WAF to enhance defense-in-depth strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to establish and enforce effective security protocols and safeguard client data and assets.
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and reports, responding promptly to emerging risks and vulnerabilities.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediation for Imperva and related security technologies.
- Provide technical expertise and consultancy on cybersecurity best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Deliver technical documentation, training sessions, and support for knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of security operations.
