Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
• Experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred.
• Passion for technology education and commitment to student development.
• Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus.
• Recent consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and members of the school community.
• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and curriculum support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Organise classroom resources and create an engaging and technology-driven learning environment.
• Prepare and present lessons suitable for the full ability range within the class.
• Motivate students through interactive, creative, and technology-based teaching approaches.
• Observe and assess student performance using school assessment frameworks.
• Track student progress using Target Tracker and use data to guide planning and interventions.
• Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on student performance and development.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with school behaviour policies.
• Carry out assigned duties and contribute to school operations and activities.
