The Arbor School seeks a special individual for a teaching role that will play a key part in fulfilling our ecological and sustainability vision while challenging students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and review of the Business curriculum and schemes of work at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Set up the Economics curriculum and schemes of work across the Secondary School.
- Prepare, deliver and evaluate schemes of work in accordance with National Curriculum requirements, focusing on challenge, pace, high‑order questioning and thinking skills to enable students to achieve the highest grades at KS4 and KS5.
- Ensure the learning environment is well‑ordered, safe and stimulating, leading by example to maintain high standards of display work in classrooms and communal areas, celebrating success and highlighting specialist subject knowledge.
Required Candidate Profile
- Native‑level English language skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT or Computer Science or a related field, with a PGCE in Education and QTS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Business in the UK or a reputable British school overseas.
- Track record of outstanding GCSE and/or A Level examination results.
- Track record of outstanding teaching and learning and the ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment.
Remuneration
