Job summary

GEMS World Academy-Dubai is seeking an innovative MYP/DP Psychology maternity cover teacher to join our successful IB team, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will be located in the UAE with their own visa and a passion for delivering high-quality IB psychology education.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Psychology.
• Advanced qualifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary/High School Psychology, ideally within an IB curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the IBDP framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred.
