Qualifications

• Experience teaching within the IB PYP, MYP, DP, or CP programmes preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge in practical and theoretical music.
• Demonstrated record of delivering high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
• Passion for fostering creativity and performance excellence.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Valid enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with the IB curriculum across relevant grade levels.
• Inspire students through performance, composition, theory, and creative music projects.
• Support student participation in concerts, performances, and school productions.
• Use assessment data to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Integrate interdisciplinary and inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and enrichment programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the IB Learner Profile and inclusive values.
• Support extracurricular music activities including ensembles, bands, or choirs.
