Job summary

Abu Dhabi Manpower Supply is seeking an experienced HVAC commissioning professional to lead and execute testing, alignment, and startup activities on major HVAC installations.

You will manage a team of technicians, ensure adherence to drawings and specs, interface with multiple disciplines, and drive the completion of procedures and check sheets while maintaining HSE standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in commissioning HVAC systems.
• Ability to lead a team of technicians on site.
• Strong coordination with vendors and other disciplines.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify test equipment required and ensure it is in safe condition.
• Undertake functional and operational tests for HVAC systems.
• Produce project specific procedures, preservation and maintenance check sheets, matrix and schedules.
• Identify and resolve HVAC technical problems or coordinate with vendor.
• Preserve and maintain HVAC equipment after commissioning and start-up.
• Perform HVAC equipment activities: alignment, lubrication, vibration checks, start-up.
• Perform static HVAC equipment installation per drawings and specifications.
• Lead a team of technicians to undertake commissioning activities.
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
• Prepare method statements, procedures and routines where required.
• Report on work progress, flag potential problems or delays and recommend solutions.
• Plan, monitor and assist in vendor activities.
• Ensure temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for subsystem testing.
• Perform inter-discipline checks.
• Identify design failures and lessons learned.
• Comply with HSE standards.
