Job Summary

A leading recruitment agency is excited to present an opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer on behalf of their client, a prominent player in the contracting and construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo), and the ability to manage end-to-end HR operations efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and exits.
  • Handle payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and HR documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee data accurately in ERP Odoo.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, company policies, and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate visa processing, renewals, medicals, Emirates ID, and MOL requirements.
  • Support performance management, appraisals, and disciplinary processes.
  • Prepare HR reports, letters, and MIS as required by management.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR matters.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Must-Haves for the Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience in UAE, preferably in contracting/construction companies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE Labor Law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-Haves for the Role
  • Prior experience working with high-volume or project-based workforces in construction environments.
  • Exposure to HR audits, internal controls, or compliance reporting.
  • Experience supporting performance improvement plans and employee relations cases.
  • Familiarity with basic HR analytics or dashboard reporting within ERP systems.
