A growing management consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional to build the People & Culture function from the ground up. This role is focused on designing HR systems, defining company culture, and collaborating with leadership to shape business decisions. Ideal candidates will have experience in startups, be comfortable in ambiguous situations, and possess strong communication skills in both English and Arabic. This position offers a unique opportunity to create impactful HR frameworks.
We are not looking for a traditional HR professional.
This role is for someone who will build the People & Culture function from scratch—defining how people are hired, managed, developed, and held accountable. There is no existing HR structure. You will create it.
You will also play a key role in shaping and embedding company culture, values, and behavior standards. This is a builder role, not an administrative one.
Build HR / People & Culture from zero
Design hiring, onboarding, performance, and development systems
Define and implement company culture and values
Partner with leadership on people and business decisions
Create practical compensation and accountability frameworks
Experience building HR in startups or growing companies
Comfortable with ambiguity and no predefined systems
Business-minded and confident challenging leadership
Clear, direct communicator
