Job summary

A leading Oil & Gas firm is seeking an HR Assistant – Recruitment to support the recruitment team in sourcing and screening candidates for both onshore and offshore projects. The role entails coordinating interviews, preparing documentation, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and handling pre-employment processes. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant recruitment experience, especially within the Oil & Gas sector. Good communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in Oil & Gas.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas job roles (engineering, construction, commissioning, operations).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities for onshore, offshore, and island projects.
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on criteria.

Overview

Job Title: HR Assistant – Recruitment

Industry: Oil & Gas

Location: UAE (Onshore / Offshore / Island Project – as applicable)

Experience: 1–3 years (Oil & Gas preferred)

Job Purpose

To support the Recruitment team in sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and mobilizing candidates for Oil & Gas projects while ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities for onshore, offshore, and island projects
  • Screen CVs as per job requirements and shortlisting criteria
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and clients
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and manpower reports
  • Support offer letter preparation and documentation
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes (medical, background check, visa, mobilization)
  • Liaise with candidates regarding interview schedules, documentation, and joining details
  • Support onboarding and induction formalities
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and local labor laws
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment (Oil & Gas industry preferred)
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas job roles (engineering, construction, commissioning, operations)
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes is an advantage
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
