Job summary

Crescent Petroleum Company seeks an environmental professional to support ESIA studies, sustainability reporting, and carbon accounting. Based in Sharjah, the role involves coordinating with consultants, developing Environmental Management Plans, and contributing to HSE auditing activities.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental fields and have a minimum of three years’ ESIA experience, with proficiency in SAP environmental reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering/science/management.
• At least 3 years’ ESIA experience (client or consultant).
• Experience with sustainability reporting and carbon accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental accounting and sustainability reporting activities.
• Manage carbon accounting and regulatory reporting submissions.
• Lead ESIA studies and liaise with consultants as required.
• Contribute to Environmental Management Plans and related documentation.
• Assist in HSE auditing and assurance activities.

Job description

• Supporting environmental accounting and sustainability reporting
• Responsible for carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance submissions to regulators and other relevant oil and gas authorities.
• Leading client aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies
• Supporting development and maintaining of company and asset Environmental Management Plans
• Supporting and assisting in HSE Auditing and assurance activities

ROLE LATITUDE:

It’s envisaged that the role would be Sharjah-based with occasional trips to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

• ESIA liaison with consultant companies
• Auditing and assurance
• Environmental reporting using SAP software

Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental engineering/ science/ management
• At least three years’ experience of ESIA (client or consultant)
