Job summary

A leading organization in health and safety disciplines is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor in Sharjah. The role involves implementing and monitoring health, safety, security, and environmental standards while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, managing permits, investigating incidents, and developing safety training programs. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Industrial Engineering, NEBOSH certification, and 5–7 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in HSE roles, with proven supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of plant processes, hazardous materials, and risk assessment.
• COSHH training and experience in handling H&S investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE standards, processes, and training programs.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage work permit systems and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs, policies, and training modules, conduct safety inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports, including audits and certifications.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of safety equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a safe workplace environment.
