Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an HSE Officer for the TAQA Transmission project in Abu Dhabi. This role requires the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental standards at project site level. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a NEBOSH-certified background, along with 3-5 years of experience in HSE on construction or power projects. Strong knowledge of local regulations and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Environmental Science.
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent is essential, additional OHS certifications are a plus.
• 3-5 years of HSE experience in construction or power generation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the Project HSE Plans and procedures.
• Supervise project site activities and prepare daily HSE summary reports.
• Conduct regular site HSE inspections, and prepare inspection reports.
