Job summary

A leading global recruitment agency in the UAE is seeking an experienced HSE Officer for offshore operations. The role involves implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a safety culture. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field and at least 8 years of offshore HSE experience. NEBOSH certification is preferred but not mandatory. This is a permanent position offering full-time engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years' offshore HSE experience.
  • ADNOC Offshore approval preferred but not mandatory.
  • Additional HSE training or certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct HSE orientation, induction, and awareness sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Ensure employees are informed of their HSE responsibilities and rights.
  • Assign fire wardens, first aiders, and develop emergency checklists.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across offshore operations.

Role Purpose

Support offshore operations by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Promote a strong safety culture, provide guidance and training, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 8 years' offshore HSE experience
  • ADNOC Offshore approval preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of Work Management Systems
  • NEBOSH Diploma or IGC certification
  • Additional HSE training or certifications advantageous
Key Responsibilities
