Job summary

Agile Consultants seeks an experienced HSE Officer in Abu Dhabi to strengthen health, safety, and environmental operations within manufacturing. You will implement policies, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture with UAE and international standards.

The role requires 5+ years in HSE, NEBOSH IGC, and proficiency in Excel for reporting. You will train staff, maintain compliance documentation, and coordinate drills, liaising with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and record management.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership to promote safety culture.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures in UAE.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits in the manufacturing facility.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 where applicable.
• Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to employees.
• Maintain documentation of safety reports, audit findings, and compliance records.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure preparedness across teams.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and UAE HSE laws and guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to occupational health, safety, and environmental practices.
