We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer with solid experience in MEP or construction projects in the UAE.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / ITI
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in MEP or construction projects
- NEBOSH IGC certification (International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) – mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations (OSHAD, ADM, DM, local municipality requirements)
- Prepare and implement Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Conduct daily site inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and enforce corrective actions
- Lead Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness campaigns
- Maintain incident/accident reports, near-miss logs, and monthly safety performance statistics
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to enforce project HSE plans
- Ensure availability and inspection of PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency equipment
- Prepare clear reports, maintain documentation, and participate in HSE audits and walkthroughs
- Promote a safety-first culture with strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of HSE requirements for MEP activities such as HVAC, electrical panels, working at heights, hot works, and confined spaces
Salary: AED 3,000 – 5,000 (All Inclusive)
