Job Purpose

The project scope encompasses Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to provide services for fit‑out, refurbishment, and construction projects related to buildings and Warehouses (non‑process related), within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The purpose of the PMC is to oversee all project execution activities on behalf of the Client, and to provide project assurance for a timely completion of construction works within budget and to the required specification. The PMC is required to provide sound project management and controls, contract management, quality management, safety management, and environment management practices in accordance with recognized best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with HSE plans, policies, and protocols, perform audits from time to time.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, supervision consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and compliance with project requirements.
• Development and implementation of HSE management plans, processes and procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of awareness and continuous improvement.
• Monitors project progress and team performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from the project plans.
• Prepare and present regular project HSE reports to senior management and the client, detailing progress, challenges and solutions etc.
• Guide and mentor project team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to maintain project support and mitigate any concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• ISO 18001 and 14001 Lead Auditor certification.
• 10+ years of experience in projects.
• Proven experience in a similar role on programmes with a similar scope.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 and 18001 processes, procedures and requirements.
• UAE / regional construction experience is important.
