Overview

Reporting to: Executive Assistant and Finance

Logic Utilities is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Officer & Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day HR and payroll operations at our Dubai office. This is a full-time, hands-on role focused on execution, systems, and accuracy rather than HR leadership or strategy.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working within defined processes, managing payroll and HR data accurately, and escalating sensitive matters appropriately.

Responsibilities
  • HR Operations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation across the full employee lifecycle
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, documentation, and system updates
  • Administer HR policies and procedures in line with UAE labour law
  • Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries
  • Payroll & Time Management
  • Prepare and manage monthly payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, allowances, and adjustments
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing
  • Manage time and attendance, leave balances, and working hours
  • Investigate and resolve payroll or attendance discrepancies
  • HR Systems
  • Maintain and update employee data within Zoho People or a similar HR system
  • Manage time tracking and attendance records within the system
  • Coordinate and track performance review cycles and documentation
  • Produce basic HR and payroll reports as required
  • Coordination & Compliance
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all HR and payroll information
  • Escalate employee relations matters to senior management when required
  • Support a professional, respectful, and compliant workplace environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or Payroll-focused HR role
  • UAE work experience required
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting payroll
  • Strong understanding of attendance, leave, and payroll processes
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Experience working with HR systems, ideally Zoho People
  • Calm, professional approach with the ability to follow structure and escalation paths
