Responsibilities

• Support and advise Managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Support hotel training needs, identify development opportunities, and ensure Team Members have necessary knowledge and skills.
• Organize, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training programs aligned with business needs and Hilton standards.
• Assist in succession planning and talent development during appraisal cycles.
• Manage employee relations matters with fairness, confidentiality, and respect.
• Monitor Team Member attendance and support managers in maintaining attendance standards.
• Prepare monthly HR and Learning & Development reports with key metrics.
• Ensure completion of mandatory training on security, fire safety, health, and safety.

As a HR & L&D Executive, you’re not just providing support to HR department Director – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Support and advise Managers on appropriate HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance while reflecting Hilton’s values and culture.
• Support the hotel with departmental training needs, identifying development opportunities and ensuring Team Members have the knowledge and skills required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Organize, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training programs in line with business requirements, Hilton standards, and Team Member development needs.
• Work closely with Senior Managers to support succession planning and talent development during the bi-annual appraisal process, identifying high-potential Team Members and supporting their career growth.
• Manage employee relations matters in a fair, respectful, and confidential manner, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance, and capability issues, while ensuring Team Members are treated with dignity and respect.
• Monitor and manage Team Member absences in accordance with company guidelines, supporting Managers in maintaining attendance standards while demonstrating care and understanding toward Team Members.
• Maintain accurate monthly HR and Learning & Development reports, ensuring timely reporting and effective tracking of key people-related metrics.
• Ensure completion of mandatory training related to hotel security, fire safety, health and safety, and other applicable legislation, maintaining a safe environment for Team Members and guests.
• Assist in organizing Team Member engagement activities, recognition initiatives, and social events to strengthen teamwork, belonging, and the overall Team Member experience.
• Build relationships with local organizations, schools, colleges, and hospitality institutions to promote the hospitality industry and create opportunities for future talent.
• Promote and communicate Hilton Team Member benefits, recognition programs, learning opportunities, and wellbeing initiatives to ensure Team Members are aware of the support and opportunities available to them.
• Assist in resolving Team Member and Management queries professionally, promptly, and confidentially, ensuring a positive and solutions-focused approach.
