Job summary

One&Only The Palm, Dubai, part of One&Only Resorts, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold the highest guest-satisfaction standards. You will supervise shifts, ensure smooth operations in front and back of house, and work under the Executive Housekeeper to uphold policy adherence.

Requirements include proven supervisory experience in a 5-star hotel, strong English communication, and familiarity with Opera PMS. Flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a 5-star hotel or resort environment.
• Supervisory experience within Housekeeping.
• Sound decision-making and guest/colleague interactions.
• Strong communication in English; another European language is highly regarded.
• Train colleagues on cleaning, hygiene standards and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent organisational and team management skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise shifts in allocated areas and report to the Executive Housekeeper.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front of house / back house areas ensuring our guest satisfaction is to the highest standard through supporting and working with our company procedures & policies. In this position you will report to the Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Executive Housekeeper and directly supervise shifts in allocated areas.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience within a 5-star hotel or resort environment.
• Demonstrate experience in a supervisory capacity within Housekeeping department.
• Can make sound independent decisions and deal with guests and colleagues at all levels.
• You will also display sound communication skills and have confident and mature personal.
• Excellent communication in verbal and written English language, fluency in another European language is highly regarded.
• Train colleagues on cleaning, hygiene standards and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent organisational and team management skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evening and weekends.
• Strong knowledge in PMS (Opera), Microsoft applications
