Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant in Sharjah to perform general cleaning, laundry support, and room/restroom sanitation for residents.

The role requires basic English, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Accommodation is provided with a monthly salary of 1300 USD.

Qualifications

• Must be Indian national with valid UAE residency visa (own visa).
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English (basic level).

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility including common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms.
• Change bed linens and towels as needed.
• Restock supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with laundry duties as necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude towards residents and staff members.
