Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a House Maid in Abu-Dhabi to maintain residential cleanliness. The successful candidate will perform cleaning tasks, dusting, vacuuming, window washing, bed-making, and general housekeeping under supervision. Experience and ability to follow English-written instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in similar role preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods and products is required.
• Ability to understand written instructions in English is necessary since most cleaning products come with instructions written in English only.
• Must be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the house or premises in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and other surfaces throughout the house or premises.
• Vacuum carpets, hardwood floors and other surfaces on a daily basis.
• Wash windows inside and outside on a regular basis.
• Make beds and change linens on a regular basis.
• Clean bathrooms regularly including sinks, toilets, showers/tubs and mirrors.
• Sweep porches and patios as needed.
