Role Overview
We’re looking for a Hotel Partnerships & Contracting Executive who will own the relationships, negotiations, and inventory expansion that power Rahal’s accommodation and experience offerings.
This role blends commercial hustle with traveler empathy, contracting hotels and bedbanks while curating exciting holiday packages and add-on experiences.
You’ll collaborate across teams (Flights, Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations) to ensure travelers always find the right room, the right deal, and the right experience, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Hotel Contracting & Partnerships
- Identify, negotiate, and contract directly with hotels and bedbanks across Iraq and regional, and international destinations.
- Secure the best rates, allocations, and promotional deals that drive bookings and profitability.
- Maintain accurate hotel content, pricing, and availability across Rahal’s OTA platform.
- Monitor rate parity, seasonal trends, and competitor offerings to optimize performance.
- Build long‑term, trust‑based relationships with hotel partners and tourism boards.
Experiences & Holiday Packages
- Design creative and competitive holiday packages (flight + hotel + add-ons) tailored to Iraqi travelers.
- Integrate local experiences, tours, events, and transportation add‑ons to enhance trip value.
- Collaborate with the Flights and Marketing teams to launch bundled promotions.
- Analyze demand, pricing, and profitability for each package; adjust dynamically for seasonality.
- Manage availability and coordinate with supply partners to ensure flawless traveler journeys.
Data & Insights
- Use booking data to forecast room demand, identify top‑performing destinations, and inform pricing strategies.
- Share insights with leadership to support expansion and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the travel industry with focus on hotel contracting, accommodation content, or holiday packaging.
- Strong knowledge of hotel mapping, bedbanks, and online distribution channels.
- Proficient in extranets, channel managers, and PMS systems.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and analytical skills.
- Creative thinker with understanding of traveler behavior and regional tourism trends.
- Ability to analyze profitability and optimize package pricing.
- Fluency in English is essential while Arabic is a big plus
