Job summary

A prestigious hotel group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cost Controller to manage inventory flow, analyze sales statistics, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in finance or hospitality and at least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in the hospitality industry. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Experience with hotel software for F&B cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Control and record the flow of goods between Food and Beverage outlets.
• Check receiving vouchers against invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance of supplier’s tax invoices with FTA guidelines.
• Produce daily food flash cost of sales reports.
• Perform food & beverage stock counts as per company policy.
• Cost all recipes before implementing new dishes.
• Analyze monthly sales statistics and highlight slow moving items.
• Prepare month end closing reports for food, beverage, and tobacco.
• Oversee management of hotel stores and stockholding.
• Conduct adhoc analysis and restaurant spot checks.
