Job summary
A prestigious hotel group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cost Controller to manage inventory flow, analyze sales statistics, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in finance or hospitality and at least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in various hotel management software is required. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a luxury establishment focusing on comprehensive cost control and financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Experience with hotel software for F&B cost tracking.
Responsibilities
- Control and record the flow of goods between Food and Beverage outlets.
- Check receiving vouchers against invoices for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance of supplier’s tax invoices with FTA guidelines.
- Produce daily food flash cost of sales reports.
- Perform food & beverage stock counts as per company policy.
- Cost all recipes before implementing new dishes.
- Analyze monthly sales statistics and highlight slow moving items.
- Prepare month end closing reports for food, beverage, and tobacco.
- Oversee management of hotel stores and stockholding.
- Conduct adhoc analysis and restaurant spot checks.
