Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Pharmacist to support the Head of Pharmacy with ADR review, medication safety, and supervision of students. The role focuses on ensuring accurate dispensing for hospital inpatients and outpatients, as well as contributing to cost-effective drug therapy decisions.

You will prepare KPIs, compile monthly statistics, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to optimize therapy. No experience required; Bachelor of Pharmacy is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Experience not required for entry-level.
• Strong attention to accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Pharmacy in reviewing ADR and medication error reports and supervise tasks as assigned.
• Develop KPIs for the pharmacy and submit for review and approval.
• Compile and present monthly pharmacy statistics for leadership review.
• Consult with prescribing physicians to optimize drug therapy based on monitoring.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and training on medications and disease prevention.
• Process records of medications dispensed to hospitalized patients and dispense outpatient/inpatient prescriptions.
• Prepare sterile products and drug formulations, including strength and packaging.
• Supervise pharmacy students during training and evaluate performance.
• Perform additional duties as directed by line manager to support operations.
