Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialties. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients always.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' unique needs, conditions, and preferences.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  4. Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices, empowering them to actively participate in their care and make informed decisions.
  5. Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  6. Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments and interventions, recognizing and promptly addressing any changes in their condition or unexpected complications.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement activities, and interdisciplinary rounds to enhance patient outcomes, optimize healthcare delivery processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Maintain professional competence and stay updated on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advances in nursing practice through ongoing education, training, and professional development activities.
  9. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, empathy, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
