Description:

The Technology Engineer will resume the end to end responsibility of the technical authority of all Open Source databases(PostgreSQL, MongoDB) engineering function. While managing the day to day operational activities is not expected here, this role will be accountable for the overall platform operational stability; by working with the platform owner, to build and maintain a streamlined product roadmap that guarantees the product operational efficiency. This role will carry key activities; such as: Standardization, Automation, Monitoring and Capacity planning. This requires the right candidate to be up to date with the relevant product releases and continuously conduct research and development to carefully select the features that will require to be in the relevant products backlog.

The role will also play a key role in establishing, maintaining and enforcing standards that will ensure Database performance is preserved despite continuous development and changes from the application and development teams; allowing agile delivery for all projects.

Experience:

4-8 years of experience at a relevant Sr. Technical position in large organizations in Banking background
