Job summary

Jet Aviation in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking Helicopter Maintenance Technicians to perform maintenance work on Bell 412 helicopters and components according to approved data and standards.

You will ensure compliance with Civil Aviation regulations, actively participate in the OH&S program, and work on a variety of tasks including maintenance, modifications and repairs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ICAO or equivalent licence with at least one applicable type rating.
• 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications on Bell 412.
• Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems and maintenance.
• Experience in a customer-focused work environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work on aircraft or components to approved data and standards.
• Ensure tasks comply with company policies, procedures and Civil Aviation regulations.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow OH&S and Safety Management System.
• Ensure tasks signed after completion in CMMS/work orders and with proper authorizations.

Position Summary

The Helicopter Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the performance of maintenance work at the aircraft or components in accordance with approved data and to an approved standard

Main Responsibilities

Quality, Safety and Environment

• Ensure all assigned tasks are performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Civil Aviation regulations.
• Actively participate in the company’s Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) program and Safety Management System.

Maintenance Support

• Ensure a safe working environment and take the necessary safety precautions.
• Ensure smooth workflow on assigned jobs with minimal.
• Ensure assigned modification, maintenance, repair, or installation is performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant Civil Aviation regulations.
• Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with approved maintenance data.
• Ensure tasks are signed after immediately after completion, in computerized maintenance tracking and work order software and in accordance with the authorizations held.
• Implementation, where necessary, of remedial (corrective and preventive) actions.
• Promotion of quality awareness and safety practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Licenced Maintenance Engineer/Technician.

Regulatory and Compliance

• Ensure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft systems is conducted in compliance with relevant Civil Aviation regulations, Military or OEM requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• ICAO or equivalent licence with min 1 applicable type rating.
• 3 years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications on Bell 412.
• Demonstrate an understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems and maintenance.
• Experience in a customer-focused work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and computerized maintenance tracking and work order software.
