Job summary

Egisgroup in Abu Dhabi is seeking a reliable Heavy Vehicle Driver specialized in water tanker operations to join our transportation team. You will safely transport water and liquids while upholding safety, compliance with UAE regulations, and professional conduct.

The role requires a valid UAE heavy vehicle license, 3+ years of tanker experience, route planning, pre/post trip inspections, accurate records, and strong communication with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle license (Category 4 or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of professional tanker/heavy vehicle experience
• Proven water tanker operations and cargo handling experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge and routine maintenance awareness
• Excellent communication and ability to report and document accurately
• Knowledge of UAE traffic laws and hazardous material handling requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty water tanker vehicles safely across Abu Dhabi and surroundings
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of routes, fuel use, delivery times, and cargo documentation
• Load/unload water cargo with proper weight distribution and secure fastening
• Plan routes efficiently with GPS and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with UAE traffic laws, weight restrictions, and hazmat procedures
• Communicate delivery status to dispatchers and customers
• Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized
• Participate in safety trainings and vehicle maintenance programs
