Job summary

India Abroad in Fujairah, UAE, seeks an experienced Driver for Heavy Vehicles to operate trucks, trailers and buses safely and efficiently.

The role requires a valid heavy-vehicle license, at least two years of driving experience, good knowledge of traffic laws, and strong communication skills; Urdu/Hindi skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for heavy vehicles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver for heavy vehicles.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to read maps and follow delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Urdu/Hindi is a plus).
• Pakistani nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles according to traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues on the road.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
