Job summary

Listed General Transport in Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair a range of heavy machinery on construction sites and depots.

You will perform preventive maintenance, replace parts, and record service details while adhering to safety standards; experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred. Candidates should have at least 3 years hands-on experience and a high school diploma or technical training in heavy equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with heavy machinery in construction, mining, or related industries.
• Certification in heavy equipment repair or maintenance from a recognized institution is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment, ensuring swift identification of problems to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, including oil changes, filter replacements, and hydraulic system checks.

• Figure out and solve electrical and electronic repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, graders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, skid steer loaders, manlifts, road rollers, trailers.
