Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai is seeking a responsible driver to transport vehicles from docks to the Pre delivery Centre and onto showrooms across the UAE. You will optimize routes while ensuring the safety of drivers, equipment, and goods.

Key duties include collecting vehicles from docks and PDI centres, delivering to showrooms, following the Fleet Coordinator's schedule, and documenting any damages with customer sign-off. A heavy truck and a light vehicle license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle delivery operations and route coordination.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures for transporting vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure recovery vehicle is maintained, cleaned daily, and serviced per manufacturers and Al Tayer’s requirements.
• Vehicle delivery: collect vehicles from docks and PDI centre, deliver to showrooms across the UAE.
• Follow the schedule provided by the Fleet Coordinator.
• Follow safety procedures to load/unload vehicles without damage to vehicles, recovery unit or public.
• Check vehicles for damage and record in collection/delivery documents with customer signature.
• Adhere to traffic rules and stay alert to avoid accidents.
• Keep knowledge of UAE roads updated to select best routes for delivery and collection.

Job description

To transport the vehicles from Docks to the Pre delivery Centre and onto various Showrooms throughout the UAE whilst optimizing routes and ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are met to ensure safety of the driver, equipment and the goods being carried

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that Recovery vehicle is maintained and cleaned daily and regularly serviced and maintained to manufacturers and Al Tayer’s requirements.
• Vehicle delivery – Collect vehicles from Docks, PDI Centre and deliver to various showrooms through out the UAE.
• Follow the schedule given by the Fleet Coordinator
• Follow the correct procedure and safety standards to ensure vehicles are loaded / unloaded safely and without damage to the vehicles being carried, the recovery unit or general public.
• Check the vehicles for any damage (scratches/dents etc.) and mark it in the collection/delivery document prior to loading and after unloading the vehicles and get the document signed by the customers.
• Insure adherence to traffic rules and regulations and be alert at all the times while driving so as to avoid any accidents
• Update knowledge of UAE roads and locations on an ongoing basis to be able to choose the best routes for delivery and collection
